[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”50px”][vc_column_text]Reckona is a brand new app for the recruitment industry and will provide a valuable industry tool. Bowlers were approached to develop the concept, bring in an app developer and manage the project.


Branding & material design

We developed the name and brand in parallel with starting the app development, working closely with the client throughout the process. We worked with the developer on the material design and put in place a critical path in order to ensure timely completion.


Marketing strategy

Creating a marketing strategy for an app was new territory for us but with careful research into both the app marketing and the recruitment industry we devised a comprehensive marketing strategy.ย  Due to the competitive nature of the industry we were aware that we needed spread brand awareness very quickly before competitors began to imitate the product. This inevitably involved a multichannel approach.

Social media marketing

We developed a substantial targeted social media following by sharing the best industry knowledge before the purpose of the Reckona app had been revealed. This meant that Reckona had good communication base with potential customers without alerting potential competitors before the product went to market.


Launching the Reckona app

Reckona was launched at a series of expos and trade shows for the recruitment and staffing industries across the UK. Bowlers designed a collection of exhibition materials to create a flexible, easily transportable pop up solution for a range of situations. This included pull-up fabric banners, magnetic signage and branded display units.
